Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation has brought back the Versa Van, reviving a familiar nameplate aimed at businesses and organizations that need dependable daily passenger transport.
Positioned as a practical people-mover, the new Mitsubishi Versa Van traces its heritage to the Mitsubishi Delica platform and the L300 cab chassis introduced in the Philippines in 1987. The original Versa Van became a common sight on local roads, and its latest iteration returns with a focus on modern transport needs while retaining its reputation for versatility, durability and reliable performance.
The new Mitsubishi Versa Van is targeted at small to medium-sized enterprises requiring efficient passenger mobility, including tourist transport operators, school service providers, and firms running employee or guest shuttle services. Its roomy cabin, functional layout and diesel-powered drivetrain are designed to support intensive day-to-day operations.
Under the hood is a 2.5-liter diesel engine producing 129 PS at 3,200 rpm and 356 Nm of torque from 1,400 to 2,000 rpm, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. Mitsubishi says this setup is well suited for stop-and-go driving conditions and fully loaded passenger duty. The van has seating for 15 occupants, including the driver, allowing operators to move more passengers in a single trip.

The Versa Van also emphasizes ease of ownership and passenger comfort. Key maintenance components are positioned for easier access, a detail intended to help reduce service time and downtime. Inside, the van offers adjustable seating and steering, foldable seats for easier movement within the cabin, and dedicated ceiling-mounted air outlets for each seat row to improve airflow throughout the interior.
Cargo flexibility is another highlight. A generous luggage area and a larger rear door opening are designed to make loading and unloading easier, particularly for tourism-related and shuttle operations where baggage capacity matters.
In the Philippines, the Mitsubishi Versa Van is offered in GLX MT trim and is priced at P1,649,000. Available exterior colors are Silver Metallic and White Solid.
With the return of the Mitsubishi Versa Van, MMPC reaffirms its commitment to empowering Filipino entrepreneurs and businesses with vehicles that are built to last and designed to perform.
