Kia Philippines has launched the first of three nameplates it has in its pipeline for 2022. After hitting its 2021 sales milestone, the AC Motors subsidiary has officially introduced the all-new Kia Carnival. The SUV-inspired design meets the space, comfort, and convenience, which Kia aptly calls a Grand Utility Vehicle (GUV).
With its premium styling, world-class features, and versatile ride, the all-new Carnival has transformed into a vehicle fit for VIPs as well as the modern executive family man.
Inspiration
The all-new Carnival stays true to the new brand identity and Kia’s philosophy: “movement than inspires.” As executives constantly move between avenues of inspiration—business, leisure, family—the all-new Carnival works to elevate all aspects of their experience and serve as the ultimate premium vehicle that can further enrich their affluent lifestyle.

Style
The all-new Carnival is bigger than its predecessor, and its strong, stylish, and futuristic exterior inspires confidence and commands respect. Its “Island Roof” supported by the C-Pillar design creates a classy sculpted appearance. The SX variant’s Dual LED Headlamps to add an extra edge to its looks, while the 19” Alloy Wheels (18” for the EX) make it even more imposing.
Innovation
The all-new Carnival boasts of significant upgrades in innovative features. The new SmartStream 2.2 VGT CRDi engine and 8-speed automatic provide sufficient power, superior handling, and efficient fuel savings. It also has Drive Mode Select and an Electronic Parking Brake for a smoother drive. Inside, infotainment is provided by an 8” Touchscreen Audio with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and it has strategically placed USB ports, as well as a wireless mobile phone charger (available for the SX).
Other premium convenience features include Smart Entry and Remote Start, driver & front Passenger Power Seats (power driver seat only for the EX) that come with a Memory Function for the Driver Seat to customize presets for seating adjustments. Also included in the SX are second-row leather business class relaxation seats that offer cooling and heating functions, whereas sunshade blinds and a 3-zone automatic climate control function are standard across lines.

Safety
The all-new Carnival pushes safety to the next level and features top-notch technology by integrating technologies introduced by Kia’s DRIVE WISE- a new sub-brand that’s dedicated to innovating intelligent safety features with the use of autonomous driving and assistive capabilities for “a hassle-free, delightful driving experience”
The SX variant is fitted with a suite of DRIVE WISE features. This includes Forward Collision Avoidance Assist; Rear Cross Traffic Alert; Lane Keep & Following Assist; and a Collision-Avoidance System. Safety is reinforced by standard safety features including LED head, tail, fog lights, LED Daytime Running Lights, an Auto-Dimming Interior Mirror, Front and Rear Parking Sensors, Rear Camera with Dynamic Guidelines, Blind Spot Warning, Cruise Control, and 7 Airbags.

- All-new Kia Carnival EX 8AT in Snow White Pearl and Aurora Black Pearl – Php 2,550,000
- All-new Kia Carnival SX 8AT in Astra Blue – Php 2,988,000
- All-new Kia Carnival SX 8AT in Snow White Pearl and Aurora Black Pearl – Php 2,998,000
The SX 8AT is now available at Kia Philippines dealerships, while the EX 8AT will be available by March 2022. As with other Kia Philippines models, the all-new Kia Carnival comes with a five-year or 160,000-km warranty, as well as 24/7 Roadside Assistance.
