At a recent luncheon hosted by Ford Philippines, Pedro Simoes, Managing Director of Ford Philippines announced the recent milestones of the Ford Everest and Mustang.
“We are deeply honored by the trust our customers have placed in us, catapulting both the Ford Everest and the Ford Mustang to the top of their respective segments,” said Simoes. “This achievement is a direct reflection of the passion our owners have for these iconic nameplates. Whether it’s conquering rugged terrain in an Everest or experiencing the soul-stirring performance of a Mustang, our customers are the heartbeat of everything we do. We thank them for their incredible loyalty and for inspiring us to keep pushing the boundaries of innovation, capability, and driving excitement.”

The Ford Everest and Mustang led their respective segments in the local market in 2025, based on sales records from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI).
According to CAMPI, the Ford Everest topped the 4×4 midsize SUV category last year, while the Ford Mustang remained the country’s best-selling sports car. The Everest Titanium+ 4×4 took the number one spot in its segment with a reported 40 percent market share.
Ford believes that the Everest’s performance is because of its mix of off-road capability, everyday comfort, and onboard technology. The Titanium+ 4×4 variant is equipped with a terrain management system that offers six drive modes covering both on-road and off-road situations: Normal, Eco, Tow/Haul, Slippery, Mud/Ruts, and Sand. The model also uses an electronic shifter and a drive mode selector intended to help tailor vehicle behavior to different surfaces and driving conditions.
In terms of safety and driver assistance, Ford highlighted that the Everest lineup comes with seven airbags as standard. Depending on the variant, the Everest can also be equipped with features such as adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go and lane centering, lane keeping with road edge detection, forward collision warning, evasive steer assist, and reverse brake assist.
Meanwhile, the iconic Mustang topped of the sports car segment in 2025 with a reported 32 percent market share. The seventh-generation Mustang, introduced locally in 2024, is offered in the Philippines in two versions: the 5.0L GT Premium Fastback and the 2.3L EcoBoost Premium Fastback both of which now get the MagneRide damping system, which was previously limited to the GT Premium. Other highlighted hardware include Brembo brakes, an active-valve quad-tip exhaust that allows drivers to adjust sound levels, and 19-inch aluminum wheels with variant-specific designs. Inside, Ford notes performance-themed touches such as RECARO leather-trimmed sport seats and soft-touch cabin materials.
In terms of power, the GT Premium Fastback uses a 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 paired with a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission, rated by Ford at 493 PS and 567 Nm of torque. The EcoBoost Premium Fastback uses a 2.3L EcoBoost engine, also mated to a 10-speed SelectShift automatic, with Ford citing 319 PS and 475 Nm.
The same CAMPI report placed Ford Philippines in fourth position in overall sales for 2025 recording 21,784 units sold, with Its best-selling Territory, Ranger, and Bronco, also significantly contributing to the final numbers. Ford is set to launch updated variants of the Everest and Ranger at the CAMPI-organized Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) scheduled to run from June 4 to 7, 2026.
