Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) officially opened the 2025 Isuzu Truck Fest at the SMX Convention Center Pasay on February 28, 2025. With 19 Isuzu trucks and light commercial vehicles on display, this marked IPC’s biggest truck show ever, celebrating 25 consecutive years as the country’s top truck brand.

A Celebration of Heritage and Innovation

This year’s Truck Fest showcased Isuzu’s long-standing commitment to engineering excellence, dating back to 1916 when the company first manufactured diesel engines in Japan. Over the years, Isuzu perfected diesel technology and truck manufacturing across various categories—from light to heavy-duty—earning the trust of business owners worldwide for its durability, reliability, and fuel efficiency.

“Today, we are not just celebrating our 25-year reign as the country’s number one truck brand but also reaffirming our dedication to delivering innovative solutions for Filipino businesses nationwide,” says IPC President, Tetsuya Fujita.

A Diverse Lineup of Trucks and Business Solutions Offered

The 2025 Isuzu Truck Fest featured an extensive lineup of trucks, each designed to meet the growing demands of various industries. Officially introduced at the event, the new Isuzu S&E Series heavy-duty trucks offered multiple body applications and advanced features such as an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) that enhanced fuel efficiency while reducing driver fatigue. Equipped with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Vehicle Stability Control (EVSC), the new Isuzu S&E Series stood out as one of the safest trucks in IPC’s lineup.

On the public transport side, IPC showcased its new Isuzu NPR85 with Class III PUV body, which offered big capacity with its rigid chassis. It also came with dual rear tires that enhanced vehicle stability and safety, making it perfect for the high demand of the commuting public. Another PUV that was on display was its new Isuzu TRAVIZ Class 1 PUV, which had a more spacious and comfortable interior, ideal for shorter trips; both PUVs were compliant with the PNS guidelines.

The Isuzu SW5 Tipper and NQR Garbage Compactor were also on display, designed for heavy-duty tasks; these trucks catered to both government and private sector needs.

Popular among SME customers, IPC displayed one of the best-selling trucks, the Isuzu TRAVIZ, which was available in body applications like the Utility Van, Mobile Kitchen, and its new TRAVIZ Concept Van, showcasing the flexibility of the TRAVIZ to cater to various business needs.
In addition to these, IPC showcased fleet-ready vehicles such as the Isuzu D-MAX Single Cab 4×4 with Eco-bus and ambulance bodies, the D-MAX 4×2 LS-A, and the Isuzu mu-X 4×2 LS-A, which were ideal for corporate and logistics use.

Other popular truck body applications that were on display included the Isuzu NLR Aluminum Van, NLR Refrigerated Van, FVR Water Tanker, FVR Dropside with Crane, FXM Fuel Tanker, EX5 AMT Tractor Head, as well as government-specific models like the Isuzu NPS Military Truck and FVR Firetruck.

Isuzu Advantages: Unmatched Aftersales Support

Beyond its vehicles, IPC highlighted the Isuzu Advantage, which had been instrumental in maintaining its market leadership for 25 years.

These advantages included their nationwide dealer network, with nearly 50 dealerships across the country, which ensured easy access to sales and service facilities, even in remote areas. Each dealership was equipped with comprehensive servicing capabilities, including dedicated truck bays for fleet customers.

Extensive parts were available; IPC operated a 6,000 SQM warehouse with a highly efficient distribution system, ensuring that a wide range of Isuzu parts was readily available across the country. This accessibility extended the service life of Isuzu vehicles and maintained their high resale value.

Expert Service Technicians & Field Engineers, through the Isuzu Heart and Smile Project (IHSP) in partnership with TESDA, trained its own service technicians, offering a free two-year Automotive Servicing Course from NC I to IV levels. Isuzu dealerships prioritized employment for graduates, and they earned global recognition by winning awards at the annual Isuzu World Service Competition in Japan.

On top of this, IPC provided on-site servicing and roadside assistance through its Mobile Medic Truck, which was capable of delivering basic repairs and maintenance wherever customers were located. Additionally, the company deployed expert field engineers who assessed customer requirements and provided tailored recommendations through the Isuzu Health Report system.

IPC had also offered specialized training programs in safety, maintenance, and eco-driving, which helped businesses maximize uptime and efficiency. Additionally, the company collaborated with local body manufacturers to promote local industry growth and economic support.

“At Isuzu, purchasing a truck is just the beginning of a long-term relationship. Our strong aftersales support, expert training programs, and extensive service network ensure that our customers can rely on their trucks for many years to come,” added Fujita.

Isuzu: “Your Responsible Partner”

During the Truck Fest, IPC offered additional discounts and promotions. Initially, the company announced a P35,000 discount and a P10,000 parts coupon for every truck purchase made from Feb 28 to April 30, 2025. As an additional treat to its customers, IPC increased their offering to specific models, providing a P60,000 discount on the Isuzu TRAVIZ and up to P135,000 on the Isuzu N & F-Series trucks.

They also included an additional 20% discount on all PMS parts purchases during the event and a 25% special discount on PMS parts for all vehicle reservations and purchases until April 30, 2025. Special financing programs were also available through IPC’s bank and leasing partners, including BPI, RCBC, Security Bank, and Orix Leasing.

Accredited Isuzu body builders participated in the event, showcased their latest innovative body applications, and offered special promotions for all Truck Fest visitors.

Isuzu: “Your Responsible Partner”

Through decades of unwavering commitment to quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction, Isuzu solidified its reputation as the “Responsible Partner” for Filipino businesses. While new brands entered the market, Isuzu remained the trusted choice, thanks to its proven track record of delivering durable and fuel-efficient trucks, backed by industry-leading aftersales support.
