All-New Nissan Kicks e-POWER Launches in PH with Fresh Design and Smarter Tech

Nissan Philippines has launched the all-new Nissan Kicks e-POWER, introducing a next generation of its electrified subcompact SUV for Filipino motorists looking for a more confident and connected driving experience.

First introduced locally in 2022, the Kicks brought Nissan’s e-POWER technology to the subcompact crossover segment. The latest version builds on that formula with updated design, improved features, and advanced driver-assistance technologies, while keeping the electric motor-driven performance that has defined the nameplate.

At the core of the new Kicks is Nissan’s e-POWER system, which delivers a 100% electric motor-driven feel through a self-charging setup. It produces 136 PS and 280 Nm of torque, with a 1.2-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine generating electricity for the battery while the electric motor powers the wheels. Nissan says this allows drivers to enjoy electric-style acceleration without changing their refueling habits.

Inside, the all-new Kicks is designed for everyday comfort and convenience. It comes with Nissan’s Zero Gravity seats, anti-heat leather upholstery, a 6-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and improved rear-seat ergonomics for a more relaxed ride. The cabin also features a 12.3-inch Display Audio system with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus NissanConnect Services with a three-year subscription.

The exterior has also been refreshed, featuring Nissan’s V-Motion grille, a new lighting signature, triple-arrow daytime running lights, and hexagon-shaped rear lamps. Nissan said the updated headlights offer wider and longer illumination for improved visibility in low-light conditions.

Safety is another major focus of the new model. The Kicks e-POWER is equipped with Nissan ProPILOT, which helps assist steering, acceleration, and braking on highways and during long drives. It includes Intelligent Lane Keep Assist, Intelligent Cruise Control, and Traffic Jam Assist. It is also fitted with 12 additional safety and driver-assistance features, including Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Intelligent Around View Monitor, and Intelligent Forward Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection.

“The Philippines is an important market for Nissan, and we are grateful for the trust Filipino customers continue to place in our brand,” said Nissan Philippines President Yoshinori Kanazawa. “The All-New Nissan Kicks e‑POWER represents a new chapter for a nameplate that has become familiar to Filipino drivers. We are excited to introduce this new generation and invite customers to discover the new Nissan Kicks that are made for those who are ready to explore and Live Daring.”
